The Grains and Legumes Development Board (GLDB) was established under Act 324 of 1970 to enhance national food security by producing and supplying high-quality foundation seeds. As a subvented agency under the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), GLDB plays a central role in Ghana’s seed value chain, offering research support, farmer outreach, market services and sustainable seed production systems.
